Job summary

Scallaghan is seeking an experienced Fleet Refrigeration Technician to join its technical team in Durban North. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing refrigeration systems and performing preventative maintenance in both workshop and field settings.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical qualification or trade background, strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to work independently while delivering clear service reports.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant technical qualification or trade background (advantageous).
• Experience in refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
• Sound electrical fault-finding ability.
• Sound mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
