Job summary

Kabstrading Co. is seeking a logistics/fleet coordinator in Durban to oversee the company's fleet and daily logistics activities. You will plan vehicle movements, monitor routes, fuel consumption, and operating costs while ensuring compliance and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle records, coordinating servicing, tracking performance, and communicating with drivers, suppliers and customers to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

• Coordinate and monitor the fleet and daily logistics activities.
• Plan and coordinate vehicle movements, deliveries and collections.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, routes, fuel use and operating costs.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained, licensed and compliant with regulations.
• Schedule servicing, repairs and maintenance for fleet vehicles.
• Track driver performance, attendance and compliance.
• Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient distribution of goods.
• Maintain fleet, logistics and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve logistical and fleet-related issues promptly.
• Prepare reports and provide management with updates on fleet performance.
• Assist in improving operational efficiency and reducing logistics costs.
