Job summary

Kabstrading Co is seeking a proactive Logistics Fleet Coordinator to oversee the company’s fleet and daily logistics activities in Cape Town. You will plan vehicle movements, monitor utilisation, and ensure compliance and timely deliveries, while liaising with drivers, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate fleet documentation, preparing reports for management, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

• Plan and coordinate vehicle movements, deliveries and collections.
• Monitor vehicle utilisation, routes, fuel consumption and operating costs.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, licensed and compliant with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor driver performance, attendance and compliance.
• Manage delivery schedules and ensure timely and efficient distribution of goods.
• Maintain accurate fleet, logistics and vehicle documentation.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
• Identify and resolve logistical and fleet-related issues promptly.
• Prepare relevant reports and provide management with regular updates on fleet and logistics performance.
• Assist with improving operational efficiency and reducing logistics costs.
