Job summary

REINHARDT TRANSPORT GROUP (PTY) LTD, via its division S HAULIERS, STEELPOORT, is seeking a Fleet Controller to oversee fleet operations and driver coordination. The role emphasizes performance monitoring, maintenance scheduling and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in fleet management, strong Excel skills, owns transport, and willingness to work night shifts and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet management and monitor operations for productivity.

FLEET CONTROLLER

Job Summary:

• Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of fleet management. Monitor and manage fleet operations, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling. Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity.
• Driver Management: Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments, ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies. Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
• Communication: Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues. Track orders and deliveries.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards.
• Vehicles: Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
• Reporting: Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management.

Requirement:

• Matric
• Computer literate

• Minimum of 1 – 3 years’ experience in fleet management (controller)

What the Company offer:
