S HAULIERS, STEELPOORT, a division of REINHARD TRANSPORT GROUP (PTY) LTD, is seeking a Fleet Controller to oversee fleet operations, driver management, and related reporting. The role requires coordinating routes, maintenance, and driver schedules to maximize productivity and safety.

The successful candidate will manage compliance with company policies, monitor performance, and produce regular fleet reports. Night shifts and extended hours may be required as per business needs.

Qualifications

• Matric required.
• Excel proficiency required.
• 1–3 years of fleet management experience.
• Own transport required.
• Sober habits required.
• Able to work night shifts and long hours, including holidays and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of fleet management, including monitoring, planning, and optimizing routes and fuel usage.
• Coordinate driver schedules, routes, and assignments; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Communicate with drivers, provide updates, and resolve issues; track orders and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, COF inspections, and routine services; ensure roadworthiness.
• Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and other management needs.

FLEET CONTROLLER

Job Summary

• Fleet Management: Oversee all aspects of fleet management. Monitor and manage fleet operations, tracking, fuel consumption, route planning and scheduling. Constant monitoring of driver and vehicle performance and efficiency & finding ways to improve productivity.
• Driver Management: Coordinate driver schedules, routes and assignments, ensure compliance with regulations and Company policies. Assign and ensure execution of tasks to drivers.
• Communication: Liaise with drivers on a regular basis providing updates and resolving any issues. Track orders and deliveries.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with Company policies and safety standards.
• Vehicles: Coordinate vehicle maintenance to ensure the fleet is maintained, including scheduling of services and COF inspections for vehicles to remain in a safe and roadworthy condition. Monthly inspections and arrangements for services and repairs.
• Reporting: Generate reports on fleet performance, efficiency, productivity and any other reporting required by management.
