Placements24 is seeking a Store Manager for a flagship store in Midrand, Gauteng, ZA. The role leads all aspects of store operations, drives sales, manages a team, and ensures an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of retail management, strong leadership, and a proven track record in achieving targets. You will oversee inventory, merchandising, budgets, and staff development while upholding brand standards and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills.
• Experience with POS systems and retail software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Drive sales performance and achieve store targets and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage a high-performing store team.
• Manage inventory levels, stock control and loss prevention strategies.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintained.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience, resolving issues promptly.
• Manage store budgets, labour costs and operational expenses.
• Implement company policies and procedures effectively.
• Foster a positive and engaging work environment for all staff.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
