Placements24 is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager for our Midrand branch in Gauteng. You will lead day-to-day store operations, drive sales performance, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, inventory management, and merchandising expertise, with the ability to analyze data, set targets, and execute effective store strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in retail management, preferably electronics.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Excellent team building, coaching and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a retail team to high performance.
• Manage inventory levels, stock control, orders and loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Create and maintain a visually appealing store environment through merchandising.
• Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement; manage budget and expenses.
• Foster a positive, productive work culture within the store team.
