You will drive revenue growth, oversee budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance while leading a high-performance team in a 24/7 hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant qualification in business, hotel, or hospitality management
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in hotel, hospitality, gaming, or retail, with at least 5 years in senior management within a complex operation
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, with an entrepreneurial and profit-driven mindset
• Proven success in leading large teams and fostering a high-performance, service-oriented culture
• Exceptional attention to operational detail and guest experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results under challenging conditions
• Confident, strategic thinker with excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Resilient and composed under pressure in a 24/7 environment
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to meet regulatory requirements of gaming authorities

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for all aspects of the resort, including gaming, hotel, F&B, conferencing, and support functions
• Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability through strategic planning and operational oversight
• Develop, present, and execute a comprehensive annual business plan, including budgets, forecasts, and profit-enhancement initiatives
• Maintain high operational standards, ensuring the property is well-maintained, hygienic, and compliant with all legislative and regulatory requirements
• Lead transformation initiatives and B-BBEE programs, establishing and managing a Transformation Committee to meet targeted B-BBEE levels
• Foster strong relationships with employees, guests, unions, government bodies, community leaders, and other stakeholders
• Embody and promote the organisation’s core values of respect, humility, integrity, collaboration, and accountability
• Implement disciplined cost controls and financial governance to support sustainable growth
• Lead marketing, promotions, and entertainment strategies aligned with customer insights and business objectives
• Champion the Group Customer Care programme, ensuring high service standards and guest satisfaction
• Guide, develop, and motivate the management team to ensure continuous performance improvement
• Oversee group projects and initiatives, ensuring successful integration and execution
