Placements24 is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead a Rustenburg property in South Africa. This senior role requires strategic oversight of operations, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and staff management to ensure service excellence and sustained growth.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in GM or equivalent senior leadership, with a proven track record in hospitality operations and strong people management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a Hotel General Manager role or similar senior leadership position.
• Proven track record of managing hotel operations and financial performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, market trends, and best practices.
• Experience with hotel management software and systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel departments, including F&B, housekeeping, front office, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and manage guest feedback and service recovery.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and manage hotel staff to ensure high performance.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and maximize revenue through effective pricing and sales strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
