Job summary

RESRG Automotive in South Africa is seeking a production assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble automotive bumpers, perform basic functional tests, and ensure quality by inspecting finished parts to spec.

You will scan and record shipments, pack items for transport, and contribute to hourly production reporting. The role requires teamwork, good communication, and physical fitness to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Willing to work in a production environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble bumpers per work instructions.
• Scan assembled bumpers to prevent wrong supply and keep records of bumpers shipped.
• Identify defects according to quality limit samples.
• Pack bumpers to transport according to JIS sequence.
• Perform functional testing of finished goods (APA, DTR & BSM).
• Provide basic production reporting to supervisor on an hourly basis.
• Inspect final assembled bumpers to customer specification.
• Pick painted parts and kit per customer sequence and cycle times.
• Inspect painted parts according to defined specification and standard.

• Identify defects according to quality limit samples.
• Pack bumpers to transport according to JIS sequence.

• Inspection of final assembled bumpers to customer specification.
• Picking painted parts and kitting per customer sequence and cycle times.
• Inspect painted parts as according to defined specification and standard.

YOUR PROFILE:

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12 with Maths/Maths Literacy as a subject (must have obtained at least 50% in the subject)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Computer Literate
• Physically Fit
• Good Problem Solving Skills

NB: Numeracy and Communication Skills Assessments will be done before interviews.
