Job summary

Oxyon People Solutions is seeking an experienced candidate in Johannesburg to manage parts deliveries and documentation. You will organize parts for production, issue needed components to artisans on the shop floor, and maintain traceable records.

Ideal applicants have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, are computer literate, and hold a valid forklift license. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in this role.

• Receive parts deliveries and ensure documentation is processed.

• Issue machine build parts to artisans on the shop floor.
• Maintain traceable records of parts issued.

Job description

Brief Description of Duties

• Receiving of all parts deliveries and ensure that documentation has been signed and copies are sent to relevant departments for processing and/or safe keeping.
• Organizing of parts to respective production orders.
• Issuing of machine build parts to shop floor artisans.
• Keeping of traceable records of parts issued to final assembly floor.
• Usage of a forklift for moving of components from DC and WIP store to final assembly floor.
• Working with schedulers, team leaders and foremen regarding parts control and timeous issuing of parts to FA.
• Keeping shortage list updated.
• Adherence to 6S housekeeping.

Core Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of different CM assembly parts would be an advantage.
• Computer literate in MS Office suit and Excel.
• Must have a valid forklift license.
