Job summary

Display Pack, Inc. is seeking a Shift Electrician to diagnose faults, install, maintain and repair electrical systems in our packaging/processing area at the Boksburg site.

You will ensure machinery runs safely, efficiently and in compliance with electrical codes while supporting production teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as an Artisan in FMCG manufacturing, is trade-tested, and proficient with PLCs and relay fault-finding.

Qualifications

• Trade tested electrician with FMCG experience.
• Minimum N4 Electrical certificate completed.
• 3–5 years as an Artisan in FMCG manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLCs and relay fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and maintain plant production equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Fault-find and repair electrical faults in production equipment.
• Install and wire industrial machinery and control panels.
• Read diagrams and interpret schematics.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs.
