Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our client’s production facility in Klerksdorp. You will maintain and repair a wide range of industrial machinery to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification in mechanical or electrical maintenance, at least 3 years of experience, and the ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot PLC-based systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize production interruption.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Uphold safety protocols and regulations.
