Beaver Migration and Recruitment is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise food-packaging machinery in Belgium. You will diagnose, repair and improve complex PLC-controlled systems, ensuring minimal downtime and high production reliability.

The role combines hands-on maintenance with engineering-level PLC expertise, offering training and progression in a global food manufacturing environment. Initially day shifts, then rotating two-shift system after training.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance of complex packaging machinery in food manufacturing
• Engineering-level PLC knowledge and troubleshooting essential
• Root cause analysis to prevent recurring failures

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Set up and optimise production equipment for reliability and efficiency
• Investigate recurring breakdowns and implement lasting improvements
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
• Ensure safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities
