Job summary

Teleperformance in South Africa is seeking a customer service representative to handle inbound calls and emails from existing and potential clients in a regulated financial services environment.

You will ensure compliance with DPA guidelines, process payments and account changes, and provide online technical support while maintaining accurate records. Prior experience in banking or insurance sectors is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric/Equivalent is required.
• 6–12 months call centre/telephone sales experience preferred.
• Experience in FCA regulated environments is advantageous.
• Experience in banking/insurance financial industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails from existing and potential customers on queries.
• Ensure adherence to DPA requirements within the customer service environment.
• Process customer payments, card requests, and direct debits as needed.
• Provide technical support for online enquiries including re-setting accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer records and data entry in Transact systems.
