Job summary

The Talent Room seeks a seasoned Financial Manager to oversee the organisation's financial function across branches and lead budgeting and forecasting. You will deliver accurate monthly management accounts and provide actionable insights to senior management.

You will manage cash flow, ensure compliance with SA tax and payroll rules, and mentor the finance team in Plettenberg Bay. This on-site role requires excellent communication in English and Afrikaans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in accounting/finance.
• Minimum 3 years’ senior financial management experience.
• Experience with management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Strong knowledge of South African tax, payroll and statutory requirements.

• Monitor internal financial controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiencies.
• Liaise with external auditors, SARS, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
• Ensure accounting systems and financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Provide financial support and guidance to senior management.

• Minimum 3 years’ senior financial management experience
• Experience with management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Strong knowledge of South African tax, payroll and statutory requirements
• Experience managing a finance team and supporting multiple branches or entities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting-system (Sage 200/Evolution) skills
• A professional designation through SAIPA, SAICA or CIMA will be advantageous
• Afrikaans and English speaking preferred
