Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional qualification (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA) is mandatory.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior finance management role.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS , South African accounting standards, and tax legislation.
• Proven experience with financial systems implementation and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems and policies.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
