Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa seeks a Financial Adviser to provide proactive, on demand financial services and advice to customers within an allocated market. You will build strong client relationships and deliver sound financial solutions in line with customers’ goals and compliance frameworks.

The role includes formal in-house training, completion of prescribed regulatory exams, and accreditation with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority, with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and NQF Level 5 or higher qualifications.
• FAIS compliance with regulatory requirements.
• RE5 qualification is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence and own car.
• Clear criminal and credit checks required.
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience preferred.
• Proficient computer literacy (MS Office).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on a range of products to an allocated market.
• Deliver quality customer service and identify opportunities for new business or retention.
• Manage and resolve customer queries and problems.
