Job summary

Oracle SA in Krugersdorp seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to maintain multi-entity financial records and support reporting and control functions at the head office. The candidate will prepare statements, manage journals, assist budgeting and variance analysis, and work closely with operations across the group. On-site work at Krugersdorp head office is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• SAIPA/SAICA qualification or progress towards certification is a plus.
• Experience within agricultural or farming environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple entities.
• Process and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare management reports and provide meaningful financial insights.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with cash flow planning.
• Assist with cost tracking related to crops and farming operations.
• Process financial transactions using accounting software and ensure data integrity.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Ensure financial reporting remains accurate, timely and compliant.
• Help maintain and improve financial controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with management and operational teams across the group.
