Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Financial Accountant to join the Centurion team. The role focuses on strengthening internal controls, safeguarding assets, and ensuring robust financial reporting in a stable corporate setting.

You will assess, develop, and implement control procedures across financial processes, supporting audits and embedding a strong control culture with department heads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Significant exposure to internal controls and COSO framework.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems across all financial operations.
• Conduct regular internal control testing and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports on control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with department heads to embed a strong control culture throughout the organization.
