Job summary

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Finance Controller / Senior Finance Manager / CFO-Designate to own financial operations and drive strategy for a growing SA organisation.

You will strengthen internal controls, oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and compliance, and develop a high-performing finance team to support long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Accounting/Finance degree required or in progress.
• CA(SA) or CIMA advantageous.
• Extensive senior finance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting.
• Experience in strategic financial planning & performance management.
• Knowledge of tax legislation, accounting standards & compliance.
• Proven leadership to build & develop a finance team.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CA(SA), CIMA, or another relevant professional qualification would be advantageous.
• Extensive experience in financial management, financial control, or a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls.
• Experience in strategic financial planning, commercial analysis, and business performance management.
• Sound knowledge of applicable tax legislation, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a finance team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A strategic, commercially minded approach with the ability to operate at both operational and executive levels.
