• Professional accounting designation (CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA) is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of South Africa financial regulations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (IFRS).
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions.

Requirements

• A professional accounting designation (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar managerial or controller role.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, auditing, and financial analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in South Africa.
