This critical leadership role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the business, from strategic capital planning and investment structuring to ensuring the financial health of a diverse development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, particularly regarding property development projects and investments.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, monitoring performance against forecasts and recommending corrective actions for variances.
• Oversee cash flow management and liquidity to ensure sufficient funding for day-to-day operations and project requirements.
• Manage banking relationships and funding partners, including negotiating facilities, managing debt covenants, and overseeing loan applications.
• Ensure full compliance with South African financial regulations, tax laws, and industry-specific standards.
• Coordinate the annual external audit process and maintain robust internal controls.
• Provide sophisticated financial modelling to support business expansion, property acquisitions, and capital allocation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to manage intercompany transactions and complex loan structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; a CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
