Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Telecom Field Engineer or similar field-based telecom role.
Strong knowledge of GSM, LTE, and 5G, plus microwave and fiber optics.
Valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and willingness to travel in the Paarl area.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and test telecommunications equipment, including cellular base stations and transmission systems.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative repairs on network infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity, signal strength, and equipment performance.
Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports on network conditions and installation progress.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards during field operations.
Collaborate with project managers and other field teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
