Job summary

BCXP is seeking an IT support technician to handle incidents and installations for store deployments in the Pretoria region. The role requires diagnosing hardware and software issues, supporting junior technicians on site, and ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.

Candidates should have 2 years of experience, a Grade 12 National Diploma or equivalent, and a CompTIA A+ certification. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are essential for local travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in IT support or installation roles.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
• CompTIA A+ certification required or in progress.
• South Africa South Africa-based project work and travel.

Responsibilities

• Attend to Severity Level 1 incidents and aim for first-time resolution.
• Assist with on-site installations and project rollouts for stores.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians on incidents and installations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues across deployed IT infrastructure.
• Adhere to SLAs and follow installation/operating procedures.
