Qualifications

• Trade qualification and forklift experience required.
• Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams and manuals.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and time management.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing material handling equipment on site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot forklift breakdowns accurately.
• Communicate repairs clearly to customers or supervisors.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and data/history.
• Ensure OHSACT safety standards on premises.
• Drive rebuilds and repairs to meet timeframes.
• Promote external sales during service visits.
• Resolve customer queries regarding repairs and orders.
