Placements24 is seeking a skilled and dependable Field Service Technician specializing in Electrical Systems to join our client’s team in Paarl. You will travel to client sites to install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical expertise, ability to diagnose faults with meters and scopes, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Field Service Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, schematics, and control systems.
• Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic electrical tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test electrical systems and control panels on-site.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative servicing of electrical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components and wiring.
• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Document all service activities, including findings, actions taken, and parts used.
