Job summary

i Place People is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer with sales experience in the packaging machinery sector to join our team in Gauteng. You will troubleshoot, repair, and service equipment, while supporting sales efforts with clients and providing detailed visit reports in Salesforce.

The role involves mentoring an Apprentice Engineer, attending after-hours breakdowns, and following up on opportunities from quotation through to order.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical.
• 2-4 years servicing Packaging Machines.
• 1-2 years client experience in FMCG industry.
• Formal Sales Training would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
