Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Field Service Mechanical Engineer to support customers from Kimberley and surrounding regions. You will perform installation, maintenance and repair of complex mechanical equipment at client sites, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-site training to customers.

The role requires extensive travel, independent hands-on problem solving, and adherence to safety standards in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in field service or technical support, preferably with mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair mechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide timely solutions.
