Placements24 is seeking a Field Service Engineer specializing in electrical systems for client sites around East London. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of complex electrical systems with extensive travel.

You will diagnose faults, provide timely repair solutions, and train clients on equipment operation while maintaining thorough service reports and ensuring safety at all times. A diploma or degree in electrical engineering is required.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in field service or maintenance of complex electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region and nationally.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
