Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Commercial Appliances Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen equipment across Centurion and surrounding areas. This field-based role requires regular travel to client sites and a proactive approach to service delivery.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, follow manufacturer specifications, and maintain service records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or Technician specializing in commercial appliances.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial appliances and equipment.
• Diagnose issues with testing equipment and provide solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and performance.
• Respond to service calls promptly and efficiently, addressing client concerns.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and labor time.
