Placements24 is seeking a proficient Commercial Appliance Technician to service clients across the Pretoria region. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen and refrigeration appliances, diagnosing faults and ensuring safe operation.

You will work with gas, electrical and mechanical systems, provide clear client explanations, and maintain service reports. A strong customer-focused approach and solid technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technician specializing in commercial appliances.
• Strong knowledge of various commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, dishwashers) and refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with gas, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities for engaging with clients in Pretoria.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial cooking equipment, refrigeration units, and other appliances.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and gas-related issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal appliance performance and longevity.
