You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment for businesses across Mpumalanga, ensuring equipment is back in optimal condition quickly.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical, gas, and refrigeration systems, plus strong diagnostic and customer-service skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Repair Technician specializing in commercial appliances.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, gas, and refrigeration systems in commercial equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in commercial ovens, ranges, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns.
• Replace faulty parts such as heating elements, thermostats, motors, and compressors.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
• Maintain accurate service logs, parts inventory, and customer service reports.
• Adhere to safety regulations during service calls.
