Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service industrial automation systems, including robotics, PLCs, and HMI interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues on automated equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure maximum uptime for client operations.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients' operational and maintenance teams.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Develop and maintain service reports, detailing work performed and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement system improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory for service calls and ensure proper tool usage.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during site visits.
• Effectively manage time and logistics for on-site service requirements while fulfilling remote administrative tasks.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service for industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI software.
• Experience with robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, KUKA) is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to travel extensively within the designated region and work flexible hours.
