Placements24 has an Installation and Repair Specialist role based in Tembisa, Gauteng. The position focuses on delivering reliable installation services and prompt on-site repairs, with a keen eye for detail and strong diagnostic skills.

The successful candidate will handle installations per technical guidelines, perform diagnostics, and ensure safety, timeliness, and client satisfaction. On-the-job training and health benefits are offered to support growth and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of technical systems.
Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong understanding of technical schematics and manuals.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet client needs.
Problem-solving aptitude and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair a range of company equipment and systems according to technical guidelines.
Perform diagnostic assessments to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions.
Ensure all installations are completed safely, on time, and to the satisfaction of the client.
Respond to service calls and emergencies, providing timely and effective repair solutions.
Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve complex issues and share knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
