Job summary

Placements24 is looking for a skilled Installation and Maintenance Specialist to join the George operations team. You will oversee the full lifecycle of equipment, from initial installation and configuration to routine maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring accurate connections and reliable operation across the Western Cape.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication for George region.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment and systems with accurate connections and configurations.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Test and validate systems post-installation and after maintenance.
• Manage inventory of parts and tools for service calls.
• Provide on-site technical support and client guidance.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
