Job summary

Craven Cottage CC in KwaZulu-Natal seeks a passionate lodge guide with FGASA certifications to deliver outstanding interpretive guiding and guest experiences on a rotating schedule of game drives.

The role requires Grade 12, a strong guiding background, and readiness to assist with lodge operations, maintenance and staff training. Applicants should hold PRDP and FGASA qualifications where possible.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• FGASA certifications listed above are required or close to qualified.
• Valid PRDP is required.
• NQF2 qualification (8440 & 8478) is required.

Job description

Duties:

• Conduct two game drives per day on rotation

• Manage lodge maintenance and overall property upkeep.


• Assist in staff Management and training.


• Support lodge operations and step into management when required


• Participate in guest hosting and camp operations.


• Conduct weekly town trips when required.


• Assist with lodge administration and operational oversight.

Requirements:

• Grade 12


• Previous experience in a 4 / 5* lodge environment.


• Strong guiding background (Trails Guide preferred)
