Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training in fiber optics is highly desirable.
• Experience with fiber optic cables and related equipment required.
• Proficient in splicing and testing methodologies for fiber networks.
• Able to read fiber network designs and work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy fiber optic cables, both aerial and underground.
• Perform fusion and mechanical fiber splicing accurately.
• Test networks using OTDRs, power meters and locators.
• Diagnose faults and repair fiber optic infrastructure.
• Interprete fiber network designs and schematics.
• Follow safety regulations and quality standards.
