Job summary

Ann Swann Personnel Services is seeking a Sales & Business Development professional to identify, pursue mining, agricultural and industrial opportunities, promote pumps and dewatering solutions, and build a growing customer base through visits and proposals.

You will lead quotations, negotiate terms, coordinate with operations and marketing, and travel to client sites, mines and facilities to ensure tailored equipment solutions and excellent service.

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary technical qualification is essential; trade/electrical/mechanical preferred.
• Proven external sales experience in mining, pumps, industrial or equipment rental sectors.
• Strong technical knowledge of pumps, dewatering systems, slurry equipment and related industrial equipment.
• Ability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities within mining, agricultural and industrial sectors.
• Promote and sell pumps, dewatering equipment, dredging solutions and rental services.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share and expand the customer base.
• Generate new leads through prospecting, networking, referrals and industry engagement.
• Conduct regular customer and site visits to identify requirements and recommend solutions.
• Follow up on sales opportunities, quotations and proposals to close deals.
• Work towards sales targets and business development objectives.
