Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer.
• Proficiency with fusion splicers, OTDRs, and related equipment.
• Experience with single-mode and multi-mode cables.
• Ability to read splice maps and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel within Centurion region and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise fusion splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fibers.
• Utilize fusion splicers and OTDRs for quality assurance and fault detection.
• Install, repair, and maintain fiber optic cables and infrastructure.
• Test and verify fiber optic splices to ensure signal integrity.
• Read splice maps and technical drawings to guide work.
