Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer.
• Proficiency with various fiber types and connectors.
• Experience using OTDRs, power meters, and testing equipment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform fusion splicing of single-mode and multi-mode fibers with high accuracy.
• Operate and maintain splicing equipment including cleavers and fusion splicers.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables and components.
• Read and interpret fiber optic diagrams and splicing plans.
• Ensure safety compliance and company standards for Paarl installations.
