Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Fiber Optic Network Planner to join its fully remote team, shaping the design and deployment of high‑speed fiber networks. You will design routes, perform site surveys, and coordinate with field teams and authorities to ensure scalable, compliant solutions.

This remote‑first role requires 5+ years in fiber planning, a technical degree, and proficiency with AutoCAD and ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fiber optic network planning and design.
• Proficiency with GIS software and network design tools (AutoCAD, ESRI ArcGIS).
• Strong understanding of fiber optic cable technologies, splicing techniques, and network architectures.
• Experience with permitting processes and right-of-way management.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple planning projects concurrently in a remote setting.
