Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in fertilizer/chemical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes and thermodynamics.
• Experience with process simulation software (CHEMCAD, HYSYS) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse process performance data for fertilizer production lines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase yield and reduce energy use.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and maintain plant uptime.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure reliability of process equipment.
• Participate in safety reviews, HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to chemical manufacturing.
• Assist in design and commissioning of new equipment or modifications.
• Develop and update SOPs and process documentation.
• Train operators on new processes or equipment.
