Job summary

Greys Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Store Supervisor for a new fashion store at Garden Route Mall in George. You will lead the sales team, ensure a premium customer experience, and drive sales through product knowledge and promotions.

The role requires 2–4 years of supervisory experience in fashion/retail, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to work retail hours including weekends. Immediate availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the retail store.
• Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and premium shopping experience.
• Drive sales through product knowledge, promotions, and customer engagement.
• Monitor staff performance and provide training and development.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards according to guidelines.
• Manage stock control, stock takes, replenishment, and loss prevention.
• Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Ensure health and safety standards and store housekeeping.
• Open and close the store; prepare daily sales reports and assist with admin duties.
