• A minimum of three years of experience working directly with families in a support capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of family support structures and child protection legislation in Durban and surrounding areas.
• Excellent counseling, mediation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using case management software and standard office applications.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the community are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of family dynamics and identify areas requiring support.
• Develop and implement tailored family support plans, working collaboratively with family members.
• Provide practical assistance and referrals to community services such as childcare, counseling, and financial aid.
• Facilitate positive parenting workshops and family group sessions.
