Job summary

Absa Group is seeking a FAIS-licensed Financial Adviser to deliver holistic financial planning and advice. You will guide clients through needs analysis, craft investment and risk proposals, and present compliant recommendations within Absa’s advisory framework.

The role requires RE5 certification and an NQF 5 FAIS credit, with a focus on building trusted relationships and recurring client reviews to ensure ongoing suitability of solutions. A strong compliance mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years Financial Planning / Advice in Long-term Insurance and investment.
• NQF 5 FSB approved qualification (120 FAIS Credits)
• RE 5 Certification
• Fit and proper for typical license categories

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with all stakeholders (Client, Bank personnel, product providers and Adviser Support staff).
• Participate in reciprocal leads activities and sales/pipeline meetings to identify opportunities for new or repeat business.
• Assess client needs through use of recommended needs analysis tools to understand the full value proposition.
• Prepare recommendation and quote for appropriate risk and investment solutions.
• Present recommendations to clients ensuring FAIS regulations are followed.
