Job summary

Absa Group is seeking a FAIS-licensed financial adviser to deliver holistic financial planning and investment guidance. You will assess client needs, prepare tailored recommendations, and ensure compliant delivery of solutions across insurance and investments.

The role requires RE5 certification, FAIS credits, and ongoing fit and proper status, with regular client reviews and proactive business development within the Absa adviser network.

Qualifications

• FAIS licensed advisory role with six-step financial planning process.
• Requires FAIS qualifications and RE5 certification.
• Requires fit and proper status for FAIS licensed activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Assess client needs using needs analysis tools and present the value proposition.
• Prepare recommendations and quotes for risk and investment solutions.
• Present recommendations in line with FAIS regulations.
• Obtain client consent and complete product applications.
• Maintain compliance documentation (FICA, PRI) and reviews.
• Provide feedback to Regional Manager on progress and opportunities.
• Engage with Everyday Banking stakeholders to expand the adviser book.
