Job summary

Qualifications

• Follow the six steps of financial planning to advise clients.
• Conduct Financial Needs Analysis (FNA) for Investment, Life Insurance and Estate planning.
• Ensure FAIS regulation compliance in advice and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, bank personnel and advisers.
• Assess client needs using recommended needs analysis tools and present suitable recommendations.
• Prepare recommendation and quote for risk and investment solutions based on client needs and profile.
• Present recommendations to clients while following FAIS regulations.
• Follow the designated client engagement process and provide regular feedback to the Regional Manager.
• Network with Everyday Banking stakeholders to position Absa Advisers’ value proposition.
• Meet sales and/or growth targets through planned client engagement and lead generation.
• Manage commission earnings and ensure PRI numbers reconcile in statements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to assistants and maintain FAIS compliance.
