Job summary

Dis‑Chem Life seeks an FAIS Supervisor to support the KI by ensuring external agents, QA and call centre staff adhere to FAIS requirements. You will report to the Head of Legal and Compliance and will be trained by the KI for future leadership.

Your focus is on compliant sales practices, accurate monitoring, and timely feedback. You will conduct monthly competency assessments, review sales processes, and provide detailed reports to aid regulatory oversight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the long‑term insurance industry, focusing on compliance, supervision or regulatory oversight.
• FAIS knowledge and regulatory understanding are essential to monitor sales practices and ensure ethical conduct.
• Call centre experience is advantageous but not required., with ability to coach and provide feedback.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance Oversight: monitor call centre agents for FAIS and regulatory compliance.
• Competency Assessments: create supervision plans and conduct monthly evaluations.
• Sales Activity Monitoring: review calls and transactions to prevent misrepresentation or mis-selling.
• Reporting and Feedback: prepare detailed compliance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Communication with Agents: deliver clear feedback and set performance expectations.
• Agent Development and Training: identify gaps and coach agents toward independent operation.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: maintain clear records for audits and reviews.
• Risk Mitigation: identify risks and propose corrective actions to reduce legal exposure.
• Technical Skills: proficiency in FAIS, reporting and data analysis.
• Soft Skills: strong verbal/written communication, integrity, and adaptability.
