Placements24 seeks a meticulous Facilities Engineer to oversee offshore production facilities based in Port Elizabeth. You will plan and execute preventative maintenance, troubleshoot process equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role requires at least 6 years in offshore facilities engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, and strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6 years in facilities engineering within offshore oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of offshore process safety, mechanical integrity, and maintenance practices.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Facilities Engineer to manage and maintain offshore production facilities, with operations based out of Port Elizabeth . This role is vital for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all topsides equipment and infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning and executing maintenance activities, troubleshooting operational issues, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. This position demands a proactive approach and a strong understanding of offshore oil and gas processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
